The Magic Box is a special projector created by experimental filmmaker Jan Kulka, who drew inspiration from J. E. Purkyně’s experiments with human eyesight performed in the 19th century. The Magic Box allows us to observe the principles of our own perception and reveals mesmerising artefacts of the subjective visual phenomena. You will see fascinating images, constantly changing due to the speed of rotation, intensity of the light or flickering. Everyone will get a unique, unforgettable experience because the final image takes shape right in our own minds!
